Through the International Office, Univille offers the Academic Mobility Program to students from accredited foreign universities. In this program, the graduate students have the opportunity to study at UNIVILLE for 6 months or 1 year. During the exchange, students are exempt from tuition fees at UNIVILLE, however, it is necessary that the institutions have an international cooperation agreement.

How to participate of the Univille International Mobility Program?

The first step is to contact the International Office of the University of origin to check whether the institution has an agreement with UNIVILLE. If so, the University of origin shall then send the application forms (available in the links below) to UNIVILLE’s International Office to be evaluated by the appropriate Department. If the application is approved, you will receive a letter confirming your approval to study at UNIVILLE.

Important:
When applying, it is advisable to start the process at least 6 months in advance. Deadlines for applications are:

1st October of the current year - to study in the first half of the following year.
1st March of the current year - to study in the second half of the current year.

Course equivalence
There is a process that determines equivalence of the course of the University of origin. At the end of the exchange period, the International Office sends the transcript of records to the University of origin with other documents required to make equivalences.

Documents required
The documents required for application can be found in the links below. These documents must be sent by the International Office of the University of the Incoming Student to the International Office at Univille, to the e-mail: internacional@univille.br

-          Exchange Student’s Application Form

-          Application Form for Accommodation

-          Learning Agreement

Brazilian student visa

To study in Brazil, the Brazilian federal government requires a student visa. Information on this type of visa can be obtained at the Brazilian Embassy in the student's country. It is important to seek information in advance as the process can take days or weeks to complete.

To apply for a visa after being accepted into the UNIVILLE Mobility Program, the student must submit a letter of acceptance from the University to the Brazilian Embassy. Students from MERCOSUR countries only require an identity card to come to Brazil.

Upon arrival, students must register with the Federal Police within 10 days of arrival.

Accommodation
Once the application process has been accepted and approved by UNIVILLE, the student must advise the International Office if they should arrange accommodation. UNIVILLE does not have student accommodation on campus, thus students usually participate in the Host Family program, which enables them to connect with people from other cultures. In this case, the International Office selects families and puts them in touch with the student.

Enrollment
To enroll, a student must submit a digital copy of the passport, health insurance, visa and address during stay. Upon arrival at UNIVILLE, the student must sign the learning agreement with the International Office, thus gaining access to UNIVILLE facilities: computers, gym, library, etc.
